The 500 workers who continue to shape the workforce of the canning Falcon Foods in Campos del Rio, will begin an indefinite strike tonight to show their unequivocal rejection of total inactivity has dragged the company for more than six months.
First, the strike wants to denounce the deplorable conditions that most workers are experiencing at the moment, as many of them are no unemployment benefits and are being forced to resort to family and friends to survive.
Secondly, reporting that the company has not been able, yet, to reach an agreement with the buyers.
Thus, the full template to prevent Falcon Foods tonight from any type of moving goods and / or machinery for the company did not descapitalice the workplace but also support the possibility of compensation to which they had held in the case of decommissioning of the plant.
Similarly, UGT requires the company to give solution to this situation that is getting longer too in time.
In turn, since UGT is seeking action by the Regional Government to require the company's commitment to achieve a dignified exit, to maintain the functioning and survival of the factory, plus all jobs.
