The Solidarity March II for Rare Diseases, organized by the city of this county to benefit the Association for Rare Diseases D'Genes, on Sunday November 29 was held.
Over two hundred people marched through the streets of Campos del Río transmitting the need to support people and families with rare diseases and D'Genes special way.
In recent days representatives of the association held a meeting with families and people living with rare diseases in this municipality and agreed with the support of the City Council, be it a delegation of the association, which is scheduled to open its doors from next January.
D'Genes president, Juan Carrion, positively evaluated the development of this activity and especially wanted to thank the mayor of this town, José María Pérez Ceron, and the other councilors joint commitment to bring its resources individuals and families with rare diseases and enable the association to open a delegation in Campos del Río.
