The socialist mayor of Campos del Rio, Maria Jose Perez, today called on the president of the Community that a quarter of the Civil Guard in the town installed to tackle existing problems of public safety, as it's biggest prison is located Region as well as an increase in the budget for the police.
Perez, who met today with Pedro Antonio Sanchez in San Esteban, has also claimed an ecological flow for the river system that runs through the municipality and the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura River Fields specifies in the same conditions than elsewhere Region supplies for irrigation.
The road between Campos del Rio Alguazas, the RM-531, has also been analyzed in the interview.
The mayor has requested that an item in the budgets of the CARM 2016 intended the settlement and expansion of the entire road is included, including those required to pay the relevant expropriations.
José María Pérez has demanded the president, on the other hand, a commitment to the community to restore and promote the food industry in the former factory of "Falcon Foods".
In addition, the mayor has demanded improvement and comprehensive conditioning of Colegio San Juan Bautista, and the restoration of a bus from Campos del Río to Alguazas and Molina de Segura.
Finally, Perez has handed the president the need for the Community to finance the responsibilities assigned to it in sports, education, police, social services and employment, and that can not be subsidized by the city.
