The Director of Roads, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó, met with the mayors of Alguazas and Campos del Río, Blas Angel Ruipérez and Maria Jose Perez, respectively, to pass on the willingness of the Council to undertake improvement works on the road RM-531, which connects both locations.
In this sense, the director general presented them with the convenience that these consistories proceed to take over management of the transfer of land needed to accelerate the execution of the repair work and precise extension.
This line of action is initiated in the previous legislature and which have been working in the region and the municipalities of Alguazas and Campos del Río in recent months.
José Antonio Fernández Lladó said that with this intervention "in this way will provide the required safety conditions at road level two of the regional Network category to which the road belongs".
The performance will take place in three sections and aims to extend the platform to the road, reinforcing the firm, remove a winding path and renew the vertical and horizontal signaling.
The first will focus on about four kilometers from the town of Campos del Rio, to continue with a second tranche three kilometers and finish in a third understood route between the town of Alguazas and called concrete bridge on the old railway line Murcia-Caravaca de la Cruz.
