The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has invested a total of 116,859.44 euros in various works of improvement and upgrading of the College of Education and Primary San Juan Bautista de Campos del Río in the last five years.
The last of these performances took place this year and involved the remodeling of the schoolyard.
The general director of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, held this morning a working meeting with the mayor of the municipality, Miguel Buendia, to analyze the reality of schools in the locality.
"This meeting is part of the series of visits to several municipalities that are doing from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities to see first hand the state of schools and possible present and future needs of different localities of the Region "said Maria Dolores Valcárcel.
During the visit to the town, the general director of Educational Centers and the mayor of Campos del Río moved at school, in addition to the remodeling of the courtyard, with an investment of 17,000 euros, other actions of late last year were checked improvement and conditioning for a total amount of 12,005.38 euros.
In this center were conducted in 2011, some substitution work on the electrical system, a work in which the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities invested 49,733.73 euros.
Two years before various actions were performed on the cover of the center, a work in which a total of 28,958.24 euros was invested.
