The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, announced that his department undertake improved RM-531 road, which runs between Alguazas and Campos del Río, whose works, which have an amount of 2.9 million euros , will begin next year.

The RM-531 highway is a road that connects the second-level municipalities of Campos del Río and Alguazas and, in turn, runs through Albudeite until it joins the Northwest highway-Mula River (RM-15).
The firm in the new sections will be improved based on selected soil 75 centimeters thick layer of artificial gravel, bituminous paving mixtures and surface course.
The cross section of this road consists of two lanes of 3.50 meters wide and 1.50 meters shoulders.
