The City Council of Campos del Río informs that the General Directorate of Roads of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has sent the City Council the project for the execution of the works for the repair of the RM - 531 highway that joins the municipality with the neighbor of Alguazas
The mayor of Campos del Río, María José Pérez Cerón, expressed her satisfaction at hearing the news as "this process is vital to continue moving towards the beginning of the works".
Pérez Cerón explained that this is a very important step to continue with the procedures between the City Council and the General Directorate of Roads that will end with the repair works that we hope will begin in the last quarter of this year.
"At last and after so many months of intense work and demands before the regional administration, we have managed to get us the project of execution of work, which now our technicians are reviewing and checking that it conforms to the initial delimitations with which we have been working, a procedure that brings us closer to the beginning of the works for the final settlement of RM - 531, a complex project in which this Government Team has been working since the beginning of the legislature and which is a priority for this City Council , a historical demand of all the campers and a justice project for the safety of all our neighbors who daily use this road running a great risk due to the lamentable state in which the road is located "has concluded.
