The mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, has publicly acknowledged on behalf of all the camperos and camperas, and the Municipal Government Team, the work carried out by the local civil protection group of Campos del Río, as well as the of all the volunteers of the association on the International Day of Civil Protection that was commemorated yesterday March 1.
The first mayor had words of thanks to the service that these men and women of Campos del Rio lend to their neighbors throughout the year and at any time "regardless of hours, holidays, even moving to help others outside our municipality in a very important work of generosity to the campers and camperas and to anyone who needs their help;
and not only in emergency episodes, but also collaborating and providing preventive services in cultural, sports and social events.
Therefore, this Government Team wants to congratulate them deservedly on their day and publicly extol the praiseworthy work of Civil Protection that guarantees to all campers safety and tranquility. "
Pérez Cerón emphasized the professionalism, training and experience of the volunteers, associates and service technicians in the locality, which enables them to successfully face any service for which they are required both in our municipality and in other of the region, in the Northwest and even in any point of the Region of Murcia as in the case of the floods of Los Alcázares last year.
