The Councilor for Women in the City of Campos del Río, Antonia López, has presented the program of events and activities that are part of Women's Week to mark the commemoration of March 8, International Women's Day.
Organized by the Department of Women, has the collaboration of the Association of Women 'Juana Calderón', the Viudas, Dinamización Campos del Río I and the components of the employment and training program of Youth Guarantee, Dinamización Campos del Río II .
The extensive program brings together a score of activities that will last until April 8, among which the celebration of the First Poetry and Poetry Contest stands out as a novelty this year.
The mayor of Women, Antonia Lopez, has highlighted the collaboration she finds each year in the associations and groups of the municipality to which she has thanked them for their involvement in carrying out the different activities and scheduled events and raising awareness of this issue as it has affirmed that "on March 8 we celebrated an important day for society, International Women's Day, but we also celebrated the struggle for equal conditions between both genders.
That is why I appeal to all the campers and women, men and women, to participate in all the activities we have prepared and live together a week of coexistence that we are able to prolong every day of the year. "

Bases of the Poetry and Poetry Contest
The poems or Poems will have a free extension with any number of verses and rhyme, or free verse without rhyme.
The motto or theme will be about gender equality.
The poems or poems must be delivered in a folio to the presidents of the associations of Women and Widows before March 6.
On the folio with the poetry or poem the pseudonym will be written and in an outer envelope the name and surname of the participant.
The decision of the jury will be communicated on March 8, at 4:30 p.m. at the headquarters of the Widows Association.
The jury will assess the originality and the poetic accent in each poetry or poem.
All the projects presented will be exhibited in the Association of Women 'Juana Calderón'.
