The City of Campos del Río wants to inform the residents of the municipality and the population in general that from the consistory are addressing neighborhood complaints and is aware of the thefts suffered in the municipality in recent days and affecting inhabited dwellings, as well as the illegal removal of the copper wiring in lampposts of the urbanization of Campos de Murcia where some 200 residents reside.
From the City Council of Campos del Río, it is recommended that affected residents submit the corresponding report for theft in the offices of the Civil Guard, detailing the items and objects stolen.
The presentation of the complaint is necessary and it is the previous procedure that gives way to the subsequent investigation by the State Security Forces and Corps, which is fundamental to try to clarify the criminal facts, arrest the perpetrators and ultimately to be able to recover the objects and belongings stolen in the robberies.
From the City Council wants to make an appeal to the residents of the municipality transmitting peace of mind to these unfortunate events that are not the general tone in the daily life of Campos del Río.
From the session relies on the professionalism and performance of the Civil Guard in the clarification of these events, and that is why it is reported that the Mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, is in constant contact with the Delegation of the Government in the Region of Murcia and it has transmitted to the Government Delegate, Francisco Bernabé, the existing concern in the municipality derived from these criminal acts, at the same time that it has again requested a reinforcement for the entire municipal area of Fields of the River of Civil Guard patrols, as well as gave order to reinforce in an extraordinary way the presence of Local Police agents in a preventive and deterrent way to try to reduce and avoid as much as possible these criminal acts.
Pérez Cerón has said that "the insecurity in the area is a problem that has been dragging throughout the region for some time but fortunately are facts that do not recur with assiduity."
And has urged the Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia to have a greater reinforcement of patrols of the Civil Guard in order to provide greater security to neighbors, both the municipality and the border, also taking into account the next start of the fruit collection season on farms.
