The City Council of Campos del Río, chaired by the socialist Mª José Pérez Cerón (PSRM - PSOE), has joined the Seed Guardians Project by donating transportation, personnel and management to obtain manure among the ranchers of the neighborhood with the objective of helping more of about twenty convicts in the implementation of the Seed Guardians Project that, for therapeutic and training purposes are developing, in the prison garden, inmates of the Special Treatment Unit (UTE) with problems of drug addiction.
With the authorization of the command panels and invited by the Templar Association of Jumilla, creator of the project, Mrs. Pérez Cerón visited the modern facilities of the regional prison accompanied by the Deputy Director of Treatment and the owner and grand master of the Milites. As a result of this meeting, the City Council and the Templars are preparing a draft of actions in the municipality in which the convicts will have an outstanding cultural role, covering mutual objectives of the Templar institution and association in favor of the reinsertion of the convicts and promotion of the capital municipality of the Quoted Goat Murcian Grenadine.
