The mayor of Campos del Rio and mayor of Education and Culture has announced that with the arrival of next year, the municipality will inaugurate a new music school (EMCR).
The new school will teach classes for all ages and all levels of knowledge, from 3 year olds to adults who can take different subjects.
The first mayor has advanced the main ones like the one of Music and Movement directed to boys and girls between 3 and 7 years that will serve them as the first contact with music and where they will begin to familiarize themselves with the musical notes, knowledge of the different instruments and develop motor skills.
As a complement to this subject, initiation classes to singing will also be included.
Another of the teachings to be taught will be the Musical Language that will progressively develop the rhythmic, theoretical and auditory skills in order to lay the theoretical basis necessary for interpretation with any instrument and the possibility of accessing a higher academic future of a character professional in the world of music.
The Specific Musical Language for Adults will be another of the subjects to be taught within the new school and that, like the previous one, will allow to develop, always in a progressive way, the rhythmic, theoretical and auditory abilities that will establish the theoretical base necessary for the interpretation. instrumental allowing the student a professional academic future or motivated by the love of music.
María José Pérez Cerón wanted to appeal to all lovers and fans of this art to be encouraged to enroll in the EMCR that aims to bring education and musical culture to the municipality and is aimed at the entire population regardless of their level of musical knowledge, since "we have devised classes for all types of students, both adults and children, to whom for the latter, these classes will serve as a complement to their school year.
In our commitment to the citizens of Campos del Río to enhance educational and cultural activities in the municipality, with the arrival of the new year we start this new municipal school of music, being aware of the existing hobby in the municipality and responding to the musical, cultural and formative concerns of our neighbors who will no longer have to travel outside our town to learn music. "
Registration is now open with a tuition fee of 15 euros and can be requested at the municipal library located at Avenida de España nº 16.
The beginning of the classes is scheduled for the month of January 2018 and in principle will be Wednesday afternoon hours between 16 and 21 hours although the school day may change depending on the number of enrollments.
