This Saturday 7 was held the '90 K Camino de la Cruz' race framed within the events designed to commemorate the Jubilee year 2017 and which has had the collaboration of the City of Campos del Rio, municipality where the test was running with departure since the capital of the Region and goal in Caravaca de la Cruz and which involved 2,000 athletes, 1,500 in the 90 km mode and 500 in the marathon.
In the test have participated a dozen camperos of which two have completed the total distance of 90 kilometers to reach the goal in Caravaca de la Cruz.
The victualling point of the municipality was the most valued by the participants during the course of the test.
Installed in the Park of the Station, he counted on the collaboration in the assembly and logistics of the components of the Senderista Club 'Pasico to Pasico' and the members of the Athletic Society of Campos del Río, that together with personnel of the Department of Sports did a success of this meeting point and rest for the athletes on their way through Campos del Rio.
At the same time, the 9 participating clubs in the Young Fields 2017 were protagonists in the multi-adventure zone where the animation and photography contest was developed 90k and where young people dressed in disguises, banners and posters animated the athletes and made clear the passage of the test sports by the municipality.
The mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, accompanied by the mayor of Deportes, Salvador Barquero were present in the streets of the municipality to witness and encourage participants upon their arrival in Campos del Rio.
