The Town Council of Campos del Rio, through the Department of Education and Social Services, have launched again the 2017 edition of the CEIP San Juan Bautista Summer School, which last year involved 70 children aged Between 3 and 12 years.
The schoolchildren will learn and have fun thanks to an extensive program of play, sports and school support activities.
Outdoor games, water games, crafts, workshops, excursions and days in the municipal swimming pool with which participants learn and enjoy new experiences in the summer period also visiting other municipal facilities outside the school.
The 2017 Summer School will begin on July 3 and will run until 31 on a schedule from 10 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday and will be coordinated and directed by technical specialists in different educational areas.
SUMMER SCHOOL COMEDY
Just like last year, from the consistory campero through the councils of Education and Social Services, reopens the summer school dining room in the town's CEIP San Juan Bautista to meet the demand of children from families at risk Of social exclusion.
The school dining room will attend this child population in July from Monday to Friday as their families, at the end of the school year, have difficulty meeting the basic nutritional needs of these children.

The mayor of Campos del Río, María José Pérez Cerón, pointed out the importance of this initiative that allows reconciling work and family life and highlighted "the great success of participation last year, bringing together 70 schoolchildren who learned and had fun at As they lived new experiences and related to children from other courses while their parents work, which is a respite family in July for these families, sufficient reasons for the City to continue organizing this Summer School year after year.
