This morning a special plenary session was approved in the plenary hall of the Campero Chamber, with the votes in favor of the Municipal Socialist Group and the abstention of the Popular Municipal Group, to amend the contract signed on July 22, 2016 in the field Of the current Financing Fund to Local Entities with a bank and for a sum of 346,498.59 euros.
With the approval of this addendum to the loan, an increase of 3 years has been established in the additional grace period, in which the next installment of capital would be paid and after this only interest will be paid during the 3-year period.
Another advantage of this financial transaction is that interest rates and other loan conditions will be maintained.
The mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón pointed out in this morning's plenary session that "the biggest advantage we get with this measure is the obtaining of liquidity in the municipal coffers which will allow us to update and streamline payment terms to Suppliers of this City Hall in addition to getting the most benefits;
The social, since with the money we saved in paying the capital repayment of this loans for 3 years, we can better and better meet the needs of our neighbors.
The camperos and camperas will see how with this budgetary margin, the City Council can face budgetaryly the adoption of new municipal measures and initiatives that will directly affect the improvement of the public services that lend themselves to camperos and camperas.
Pérez Cerón recalled that "from this government team we continue working on the reorganization of municipal coffers and obtaining economic liquidity by taking responsible measures that go to the direct benefit of all campesinos and farms."
