The mayor of Campos del Río, María José Pérez Cerón, holds a working meeting with the Minister of Employment, Universities and Enterprise of the Regional Government, Juan Hernández to discuss different and important issues related to the local business activity.

At the end of the meeting, the mayor pointed out that "one of the main topics discussed at the meeting was the development and refurbishment of the industrial zones of the locality with the objective that companies could be implanted in industrial land, which would entail the creation of Jobs and the dynamization of the local economy that could be complemented by the arrival of new productive sectors, which would generate new job opportunities for our young people without forgetting the concept of specialized training that will make our human capital more competitive.

Another of the issues that Perez Cerón dealt with the Autonomous Responsible for Employment, Universities and Business was the update of the dossier for the sale and subsequent exploitation of the facilities of the old cannery Halcón Foods, a constant work that has been maintained for months together With the Institute of Promotion of the Region of Murcia with the aim of facilitating the procedures of acquisition of these facilities to the possible investors who could be interested in them.

Regarding this matter, the mayor of Campos del Río wanted to remember that "the value and functioning of these facilities would have an impact on the direct and indirect creation of jobs and wealth generation not only in Campos del Río but throughout region".

As for support to the commercial fabric of Campos del Rio, the first mayor along with the director discussed different innovative projects that are in the study phase and aimed at the clear objective of boosting the sector of commerce and local hospitality, source Of income and creation of fundamental employment in the present and future of the local economy of Campos del Río, asserted Pérez Cerón.

Finally the mayor of Campos del Rio, accompanied by the First Deputy Mayor, Antonia López, wanted to thank the interest and the disposition shown by the counselor Juan Hernandez during the meeting held, while highlighting the important collaboration between the consistory Campero and counseling.
