The new action is included in the '+ Infrastructure' Plan which this year allocates 20 million euros to improve educational centers
The Ministry of Education and Universities will invest 30,000 euros in the school San Juan Bautista Campos del Rio to continue improving the educational infrastructure of the municipality.
The director of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, explained that "with this new measure we will replace the exterior carpentry of the center to complement the improvement actions that have been carried out in recent years."
Thus, since 2013 the Ministry of Education has invested more than 40,000 euros in actions carried out in this school, such as the fitting of accesses and children's playground.
María Dolores Valcárcel explained that "the Ministry promotes the Regional Strategy for review and reform of educational infrastructures, which aims to detect the main needs of the centers."
+ Infrastructures
The Ministry invests around € 20 million in infrastructure this year with the aim of "having more comfortable schools and institutes for teacher education and student learning", said the director general.
Specifically, new centers will be built, such as the Sagrado Corazón de Librilla school, La Aljorra school in Cartagena and Prince Felipe de Jumilla, or the extension of Pascual Pérez Abellán de Pliego, among others.
In addition, will proceed to the integral remodeling of the institutes Alfonso X and Miguel de Cervantes de Murcia and Sanje de Alcantarilla.
The Director General of Educational Centers recalled that "the regional government performs actions to improve infrastructure all year."
