The deputy spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Joaquín López, has submitted a motion to the Regional Assembly requesting the implementation of a special transport service to communicate the penitentiary center of Campos del Rio with the most suitable nucleus of population.
Lopez has explained that it is a question of making access to public transport of travelers possible to inmates who leave or are released, relatives of inmates, prison workers and professionals of all conditions that go to the penitentiary.
The socialist deputy recalled that since the center was launched, several groups are demanding that a connection to the regular transport of passengers by bus is provided for inmates on leave or are released, for relatives, workers Jail and professionals who attend frequently.
"It seems to us that it is a fair claim, since a penitentiary center of this magnitude can not remain isolated and inaccessible for people who, for one reason or another, must go to it," he said.
"These people are forced to use a private vehicle or spend money on another type of transport, which depending on the place of origin, can generate expenses difficult to bear," he concluded.
