The City of Campos del Río maintains its commitment to continue enhancing cultural and educational activity in the municipality, focusing, among other objectives, on the development of young farmers.
Highlighting the twinning of Campos del Río with the French population of Bourg Argental, from the Campero City Council the steps have begun for a project aimed at young people in the town to maintain a continuous cultural and social exchange with young people in the city twinned
Through this program, young people will be able to learn about aspects related to Bourg Argental, while at the same time they will be able to present aspects of interest about Campos del Río, promoting not only the exchange of values ​​but also the learning of languages ​​between them.
The project initially contemplates meetings through videoconferencing to, in the future, be able to make real exchanges between local youth and young people from this French population.
To carry out the first proposals, exchange through videoconferencing, the City of Campos del Río has requested the collaboration of the Muleño institutes where the young people of Campos go to study their Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate.
Thus, the mayor of Campos del Río, María José Pérez, has held a meeting with Martín Jiménez, director of the Ribera de Los Molinos Institute, and Raimundo de los Reyes of the Ortega y Rubio Institute, as well as responsible for the French area to collaborate between the two educational institutions and the consistory in the implementation of this project from which more than 80 young people from the locality would benefit.
