"The residents of this urbanization have the right to have adequate sanitation infrastructure"

"The definitive development of the 'Los Brazos' Polygon goes through the installation of the collector that serves the necessary sanitation network for the installation of companies that generate jobs and wealth in Campos del Río"

The mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, has held a working meeting with the general water director of the autonomous community of the Region of Murcia, Sebastián Delgado, in which the first mayor has put back on the table the need to have in the municipality with two new sewage collection collectors to service the areas of the urbanization of 'Campos de Murcia' and the industrial estate 'Los Brazos'.

In the first case, Pérez Cerón pointed out that "the collector for the sanitation of water from the urbanization of 'Campos de Murcia' is urgently needed and right for the owners of the houses located in this area to have adequate infrastructure" , since today they have to assume some over costs in their water bill, costs derived from sanitation and transport of wastewater.

As for the collector that would serve the area of ​​the industrial park 'Los Brazos', the mayor emphasized "the importance of building this necessary infrastructure so that companies and investors can bet on our municipality and settle in this industrial polygon, which would lead to the generation of wealth and the creation of new jobs in Campos del Río and therefore the development of our municipality.

Priority matter for us and that we contemplate as a key point in the Municipal Plan of territorial and economic development of Campos del Río in which we are working since the beginning of the legislature ".

Finally, the mayor has stressed to the director general of water, the necessary input and decisive involvement of the regional government for the construction of these important infrastructure that its high cost of around 300,000 euros, can not fully assume a municipality of small size as is Campos del Río.

At the end of the meeting, Pérez Cerón pointed out that "from the Government Team we will continue working to advance even more in these efforts with the general direction of water that necessarily have to end with the installation of these two collectors for our town".
