The mayor gives 30,000 euros to 18 associations and groups of Campos del Río (06/01/2019)

Pérez Cerón: "Our associative fabric is fundamental for the dynamisation and impulse of our municipality" |

The plenary hall of the Municipality of Campos del Río this week welcomed the act of delivery of municipal subsidies to social groups that are part of the registry of associations of the municipality.

With regard to 2017, in this annuity the amount granted has grown by 20% reaching 30,000 euros, a figure that reflects the increase in turn in the last 12 months of the growth of the associative fabric in the municipality that has increased by 40 % up to 18 entities of the 13 that were subsidized in the year 2017.

The first mayor made the delivery of checks to presidents, presidents and representatives of associations, groups and entities of the municipality to which he publicly recognized the effort they make in a disinterested way and the dedication and involvement they have throughout the year with the events and activities that the consistory organizes and those that carry out in their own way always for the benefit of all the campers and camperas.

María José Pérez Cerón spoke to the representatives of the associations emphasizing that "the effort you make must be supported and promoted economically by your City Council, therefore in the municipal budgets we guarantee this game of 30,000 euros, just as we committed ourselves with you at the beginning of the legislature, because this Government Team is aware that our associative fabric is essential for the revitalization and promotion of our municipality because it is you, the civil society that makes Campos del Río great every day ".

These groups carry out various activities throughout the year in different social areas that contribute to the generation of actions for all ages within the socio-health, sports, cultural, educational, environmental, preventive, support to other groups and support To the population in general.

Finally, Pérez Cerón highlighted the remarkable increase in the municipal register of associations that has grown by 40% in the last year with the creation of five new associations, a fact that reflects the dynamism of the local associative fabric and the entrepreneurial initiative and solidarity shown by the campers and camperas.
