Pérez Cerón: "The main objective has to be the generation of quality jobs for campers and camperas over any other interest"
The mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, has positively assessed the announcement of the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment of the start of work to implement the plan of Industrial Dynamization of the regions of the Northwest and Río Mula to which the municipality belongs.
According to the advice of the council, the initiative will be developed by the INFO and will include the previous analysis of the current situation of each municipality to subsequently develop a stimulus of business opportunities, attracting investors and boost entrepreneurship and cooperativism, among other measures such as the implementation of incentives for economic activity.
These measures will lead to industrial reactivation in municipalities such as Campos del Río and the consequent generation of jobs that were lost with the closure of the canning factory of Halcón Foods.
The mayor, María José Pérez Cerón recalled that "since the beginning of this term, from the City Council have been requesting the Regional Government and the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia, to take measures aimed at providing a general solution to the situation industrial of our region and in particular to the one that undergoes Fields of the River from the closing of Falcon Foods and that happens through the reactivation of the production in the factory with the generation of use that was lost when the canning factory put the closing ".
The mayor pointed out that "there have been many working meetings we have held with the Regional Government in this regard, the last two weeks ago in which we proposed the counselor and the director of INFO solutions in this regard, so I hope that they are contemplated within this plan that must have the necessary coordination of all the municipalities of the region, unions and social agents.
From the City Council of Campos del Río we continue reaching out to the council so that this plan for Industrial Dynamization is truly effective and can provide real solutions as soon as possible, always bearing in mind as the main and inalienable objective;
the generation of quality jobs for campers and camperas over any other interest, as we have always been claiming from this Government Team ".
