The operation is activated after the request of the administration of the penitentiary center to the Templar Association of Jumilla (Murcia) that since May 2017, together with the Cultural Association Jumillana based in Barcelona, ​​received authorization from the Subdirectorate of Treatment, which chairs the project, to execute in the penitentiary garden his project Guardians of Seeds, with internal drug addicts located in the Special Treatment Unit (UTE) that follow a therapeutic detoxification program in which agriculture, in this ecological case, directly connects with the programs formative penitentiaries designed by the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions with the aim of reeducate and promote the self-esteem of the prisoner as well as join efforts for the sake of their professional training, while rewarding their interest and application allowing them to be in contact with nature outside of the prison module.
