This week the program of activities was presented on the occasion of the celebration in Campos del Río of the International Day of the Elderly, organized by the councils of Senior Citizens, Women and Social Services, with the collaboration of the Pensioner's Home.
The holders of the areas;
Isabel Cortés and Antonia López, have announced the twenty cultural, social, religious, sports activities - healthy, playful, learning talks and new knowledge ..., which begin this Sunday, September 30, extending until October 27 and between those that emphasize the Gala Concert "Legends of the Music" that this year will be carried out in a tent located in the Park of the Station and the Tribute to the Rural Woman 2018.
"The program that has been prepared by the municipal council, aimed at the elderly, aims that the elderly in our municipality participate in these activities and feel protagonists throughout the next month of October," pointed the mayor of Senior Citizens, Isabel Cortés, who highlighted the variety of events that will be carried out with the collaboration of the Pensioner's Home and that "are another example of the commitment to the welfare of our seniors that continues to focus the policies of this Government Team, since they are we owe everything and therefore we are obliged to pay them special attention, not only during this next October, but throughout the year. "
For its part, the mayor of Women and Social Services, Antonia López Sevilla, underlined the words of Cortés and highlighted two important appointments in this year's programming such as the Gala Concert "Legends of Music" in which local artists will participate and serve as a tribute to our elders, next Sunday 14, at 6 pm in the tent that will be installed in the Park of the Station;
and the traditional act of institutional recognition, "Election and Tribute to Rural Women 2018" to be held on Friday 19, at 7:00 pm in the plenary hall of the City Council, "an act with which this Government Team in name of all the campers and campers wants to value and publicly recognize each year;
