The Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Campos del Río made this morning a valuation of the regular full of the month of September that was held last night in the town council, which presented three motions that were approved.
The first initiative called on the Regional Government of the Popular Party to cover the financial insufficiency of municipalities such as Campos del Río to assume the payment of the provision of public services that do not correspond to them or that are not of its direct competence, such as that of the Nursery of Campos del Río that this Socialist Government Team maintains and will keep making a budgetary effort and always giving priority so that our neighbors have all the services they deserve.
Another motion presented by the Campesino socialists approved to initiate a Special Informative Commission to clarify the reasons why the Directorate General of Roads dependent on the Ministry of Development of the Regional Government of Fernando López Miras, continuously delays the start of the works of the RM highway -531 Campos del Río - Alguazas, continuously modifying the project of the works that was already definitively approved.
An issue that, as we have always said, is a priority for this Government Team and the Campesino Socialists, we will not cease the effort until we see the works completed.
The third initiative of the Municipal Socialist Group called on the Ministry of Family and Equality of the PP Government to expand the subsidized places in the residence of elders of Campos del Río since the demand for places is not covered as it happens in other municipalities of the Region and from the PSOE of Campos del Río we are concerned about the well-being of our elders who deserve to be able to opt for a place in the residence of our municipality and not have to move to others leaving our town.
At the proposal of our mayor, Juan Martín Atenza Almagro will be honored in his town
The Municipal Socialist Group wants to recognize the determined initiative of our mayor, María José Pérez Cerón, who took yesterday's plenary the well-deserved tribute and recognition posthumously to a champion who deserves the highest honors that the City Council can grant him.
For that reason Juan Martín Atenza will be named Favorite Son of Campos del Río, he will be awarded the Gold Medal and the Municipal Sports Complex will bear his name.
In this way the socialist campers want to remember and recognize permanently the figure of Juan Martín who has given so much to his neighbors and his people so that we always remember him as he was;
an exemplary champion who was always willing to help and who was a reference for his human and intellectual quality and for his work in our municipality.
