The mayor of Campos del Río, María José Pérez Cerón, received this morning the recognition of the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions of the Ministry of the Interior granted to the City of Campos del Río for their altruistic collaboration with the therapeutic project "Guardianes de Semillas" It consists of an organic garden and developed by the Special Treatment Unit of the Murcia II penitentiary center and coordinated by the Templarios de Jumilla NGO.
The institutional act celebrated in the Archaeological Museum of Murcia in which the municipality of Campos del Río has had a prominent presence, has been chaired by the Delegate of the Government in the Region, Diego Conesa, accompanied by the director of the CIS and the directors of Murcia I and Murcia II prisons.
Under the framework of the celebration of the Day of Mercy, patron of Penitentiary Institutions, has served as a tribute to prison officials in the region with more than 25 years of service in the profession, after which the presence on stage was requested of the mayor of Campos del Río who received on behalf of the City Council, the recognition that has been delivered by the Delegate of the Government of Spain in Murcia, Diego Conesa congratulated and congratulated publicly María José Pérez Cerón as councilor municipal.
Congratulations to which different authorities of the Ministry, Penitentiary Institutions, of regional policy and of the State Security Forces and Corps have joined.
For its part, the first mayor has had words of thanks to the Ministry of the Interior, the general secretariat of penitentiary institutions and the Government delegation in the Region of Murcia;
