The regional deputy of the PP, Domingo Coronado, has requested explanations from the Ministry of the Interior and the Government delegate, Diego Conesa for the hygienic and health conditions that the Campos del Río prison presents, where there has been an outbreak of mange that affects to more than fifteen inmates.
Coronado has stated that the "impeccable" performance of the Ministry of Health, within the framework of its powers, "should be complemented by preventive measures by the prison administration to prevent new infections between the prison population and the workers themselves."
The regional deputy of the PP has shown his "strangeness", on the other hand, before the demonstrations of the deputy of Citizens, Juan José Molina, downloading the responsibility of the situation in the Ministry of Health, "denote their lack of rigor and ignorance of the action carried out by the regional government within its powers ".
"Health has intervened properly, and has offered all the necessary recommendations to stop the outbreak of mange and now it is up to Penitentiary Institutions to adopt measures to prevent new infections."
