This Friday 14, at 9:00 pm with free admission in the Guatazales municipal pavilion of Campos del Río, will begin the show of the best Feminine Soccer of the country in the dispute of the 'III Jimbee Melón Trophy' that will face the current champions of the national first division football league, the girls of the Jimbee Roldán FSF, with the third classified of the regular league, University of Alicante.
In the presentation, the Councilor for Sports, Salvador Barquero, recalled that the first edition of this tournament took place in August 2016, when Jimbee Roldán's team held a pre-season training for four days in our municipality, staying at the Hospedería Casa del Reloj and doing their training at the municipal sports facilities.
"Since then a special bond has been created between the Roldán team and Campos del Río, which has made this event an unmissable event in its preseason calendar, while it is a pleasure for the City of Campos del Río to host events of such magnitude in our Guatazales pavilion that this Friday will become the epicenter of the best Feminine Soccer of Spain that all the fans of this sport will be able to witness that once again places the municipality in the national sports map thanks to the firm and determined bet of this Government Team for Futsal in all its categories in general and for Women's Futsal in particular ".
Barquero wanted to thank Jimbo Fresh for his commitment to this tournament being the sponsor and Jimbee Roldán clubs and UA University of Alicante for their participation.
Finally he has made a general appeal to all fans and fans inside and outside the municipality to come to Campos del Río on Friday night, enjoy this important tournament and know the tourist attractions offered by the municipality throughout the year, combining a day of sport and tourism.
