The Ministry of Development is lying again to the campers saying now that we must modify the project that they themselves approved as valid and definitive
The socialists of Campos del Río are wondering what partisan interests are behind this new delay in the beginning of the works of the road that connects Campos del Río with the residents of Alguazas, knowing that today the general direction of Roads depends on the counseling of Promotion of the Autonomous Community has sent a letter to the City of Campos del Río requesting new modifications in a section of the route of the road one kilometer away.
So with this new situation, the Government Team led by our mayor María José Pérez Cerón, has to go back to work on this matter with the technical services of the City Council to modify once again the project that the general direction of Roads gave for valid and approved in the month of May.
So much so that the own Minister of Development and Infrastructure came to Campos del Río on July 20 to present the project and tell the campers that the works were tendered the next day.
From the PSOE of Campos del Rio we consider this delay of the Regional Government of the Popular Party as an attack on the development interests of our people that involves the infinite delay, again more of a road that is owned by the Autonomous Community and is the only one exit and entrance that connects us with the neighbors of Alguazas, a road that has been in a deplorable and dangerous state of preservation for many years, and from private vehicles to school buses that face a very high risk in road safety.
That is why the socialists of Campos del Río asked the general director of Highways, why does he modify the project that he left after many years approved his predecessor in charge before you took office?
We asked the Secretary General of the Ministry, why if the project was not correct, the council approved it definitively in the month of May and last month the councilor came to Campos de Río to present it and announce the beginning of the tender of the works and the completion period of them?
Do you plan to purify responsibilities before this attack to the legitimate interests of all the campers and camperas?
From the PSOE in Campos del Río we hope that these questions have an immediate response and the Regional Government of the Popular Party demonstrates once and for all whether it really cares for Campos del Río and the danger that its neighbors go through when passing through the RM-531 or otherwise, they continue to be moved by partisan and electoralist interests, as they have been used to for years, unlike our mayor, María José, and her Government Team, who will continue to fight and work from the very beginning to make the repair of the highway a reality for many thumbtacks that put us on the asphalt to stop the development of Campos del Río.
