With the authorization of the command cadres, inmates in the Penitentiary Center of Campos del Río (Murcia) receive painting initiation classes during the month of May on the occasion of the Templario Jumillanas Cultural Days that the milites Christi of the municipality of Murcia famous for the temperament of its wines, and the Jumillana Cultural Association with headquarters in Barcelona, ​​organize each May for the inmates as formative therapy and start to the plastic arts within its Fénix Project that is contemplated within its "Bailiwick Cultural Crusade templar de Jumilla "set up by a series of therapeutic cultural activities focused mainly on the penitentiary centers having its epicenter in the camp establishment.
First national brushes with international projection such as Murcian Nono García, Ramón Lez, Torregar, Daniel Bechí and Antonio Tapia instruct inmates of both sexes in the disciplines of watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil, perspective and drawing.
A selection of the three best works will be exhibited in a prison for the National Exhibition Prisoners of Fine Arts and Crafts that each year, since 2006, these cultural associations organized in September as a feast to the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy patron saint of captives, ex-captives and prison officers.
