The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with environmental agents and health personnel, has rescued in a ravine of Los Rodeos, municipality of Campos del Río, a hiker who had leg injuries.
The events took place during the morning of Saturday, April 28, when the Benemérita received the warning that a hiker who was making a route through the area of the river Mula, in the hamlet of Los Rodeos, was injured and needed help to be evacuated.
Agents of prevention of citizen security of the Civil Guard moved quickly to the place and once there they met with a group of hikers who reported that a woman of about 50 years was at the bottom of a ravine with a possible fracture in her leg, which made it impossible for her to leave the place on her own.
The Civil Guards, after gathering all the possible information, in coordination with the personnel of a Sanitary Technical Unit, established a rescue and rescue device for the wounded hiker.
The woman was on a path that ran through a ravine, which made it difficult to rescue.
Even so, the members of the device about 45 minutes later arrived at the place where the hiker was, who was dizzy and accompanied by his daughter.
At that moment an environmental agent was added to the device that was added to the rescue of the hiker.
The members of the device transferred the hiker on a stretcher for about an hour to a vehicle, for its subsequent transfer to the ambulance, where it was attended and finally evacuated to a hospital.
