This morning the mayor of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón received the counselor of Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás with which he visited the residential complex 'Club de Campos' located in the municipality and has recently opened its doors giving Assistance to about fifteen residents.
In the visit for the extensive facilities were accompanied by the mayor of Social Services, Antonia López Sevilla, as well as by different members of the municipal corporation.
The Autonomous Community, through IMAS, finances the reservation and occupation of the first 15 places of the residence.
The budget of the contract is 188,000 euros, for the year 2017.
This complex, whose construction began more than 10 years ago, will manage comprehensive services for the elderly, including activities in socio-sanitary services and hoteliers.
In Residencial Club de Campos they have an interdisciplinary team composed of qualified professionals from the health sector, occupational therapists, socio-cultural and leisure time animators, which allow them to elaborate a comprehensive plan of personalized care for dependent and non-dependent elderly people.
It has two types of houses with large terraces of more than 10 meters: apartment with terrace and studio with terrace.
The mayor thanked the counselor for her visit to the municipality and requested that from the Autonomous Community continue to bet on this project inclusive and necessary for our society and said that "from the City Council we are firmly committed to this project which is an impulse to Our municipality and that not only benefits our elders, but also enables the creation of stable and specialized jobs in Campos del Rio. "
Perez Cerón said that "this residential complex is prepared to serve the elderly of the region of Rio Mula and Vega Media with exceptional care quality."
The first mayor campera has taken advantage of the visit of the counselor to request more budgetary aid in order to target them for the attention in municipal social services and for education from 0 to 3 years.
Pérez Cerón has completed his words by thanking the councilor and President Pedro Antonio Sánchez, the commitment and interest they show for these needs in Campos del Rio and that from the municipal government team will continue to demand at the same time working together with the Regional administration.
The minister also indicated in her visit to Campos del Rio that this year will increase to 18.4 percent the endowment of the Autonomous Community to attend the Primary Social Services of this municipality.
