The Socialist Municipal Group, led by our mayor and general secretary of the PSOE of Campos del Rio, María José Pérez Cerón, has approved at the extraordinary plenary session held yesterday at City Hall, the tender of the new contract for electricity supply and energy savings by value of 1,088,000 euros that for 10 years will save 300,000 euros to campers and camperas who will see how the municipality is modernized by premiering new LED luminaires, improves the efficiency of the public lighting network and completely renews all the facilities that today They are obsolete.
These works will be borne by the winning company without costing a euro to the public coffers, but in addition to this, we must add another advantage, which is the savings of 30% in annual consumption.
This is another example during this term where the work of the Government Team is again highlighted, which thanks to a responsible management of the money of all the campers and camperas, again approves with their votes in favor another saving measure that also improves the service in all the senses, reason why it is demonstrated again that the socialists know how to do more and better with less money and that we work daily for the general interests of all our neighbors improving their quality of life and making Campos del Rio a modern municipality and adapted to the new times, despite not having counted on the favorable vote of the Popular Party that has been put again profile citizens abstaining at this point.
The PP does not want the City's suppliers to collect their bills
The Socialist Government Team took to the plenary session and approved with its votes an important measure of justice that goes through an extraordinary recognition of credit from the municipal budget that will allow the City Council's suppliers to collect the invoices owed to them and that among all total more than 33,500 euros.
The suppliers of the Municipality of Campos del Río, - mostly self-employed and small companies - are guaranteed that they will charge for their work and services with this Government Team that is responsive and responsible with public accounts.
Proof of this is the efficient management of the money of all the campers and camperas that makes it possible for the City Council governed by the Socialists to face the invoices of the companies that work and provide their services to the municipality.
The socialists of Campos del Río do not leave our astonishment to see how yesterday the Popular Party of Campos del Rio voted against this measure saying NO to autonomous and small businesses in our town and our region, can collect the bills that owed them the City Council, a senseless posture of the popular that we can not understand how they can be able to turn their back once again to the companies that work for our people.
